As like anything it depends on what you want and do. There are plenty of bars that do pints for 1.5E, lots of restuarants that do 3 courses for 10E, supermarkets are on par with home, bus and taxis lots cheaper than home, hire cars very reasonable, petrol lots cheaper than home, but hey, your on holiday so worry about the expense when your back in UK.
