REUNION RESORT - ORLANDO

Hi ,

We are looking at staying on the Reunion Resort (Champions Gate area) next year as it looks so fabulous !

- just wondered if anyone else has stayed here or was booking this resort and have any comments, tips etc. ?

As its a new development, there do not seem to be many rentals on the market as yet...having tried all the main US rental sites,...can anyone point me in the direction of more obscure sites, or british sites, that might feature properties on this community ?

Reunion is a very upmarket resort. Very expensive and its nowhere near built. Most lots were sold as investments and many have yet to be developed. It will be years before its finished.
No doubt that the odd owner would disagree but you would be better off on a completed development.

I thought reunion was going to be the next celebration and as such was not zoned for str.

Maybe I am wrong-but I did think it was going to be all residential. Surprised to hear that not much is out of the ground yet as it was supposed to have been started a couple of years ago.

I've seen a few rentals, maybe a dozen at most on the main rental sites, but there is not much choice on the market at present......

If its still a building site ...that's may be why ?

The problem is that the owners of Reunion make it difficult for individual owners to rent out units.It is reputedly a cashles resort so the owners have accounts and that causes problems I should imagine with how much guests run up bills but if they don't use the owners account then there is a problem using all the facilities.At least thats how I see the situation from reading what Reunion owners have said.

.... if they are difficult to rent out.......would this potentially make them difficult to sell ????.....just curious whether the Resort managers could be shooting themselves in the foot with that approach :roll:

....is this the case ?
