These tasters have become very popular so don't go on offer much any more , nearly always £100+pppd,

FredOlsen do have one for end May bank holiday this year so why not take that. Ask for a table for two but why not share and learn more about cruising.

I have been on three of these taster cruises and loved them. In fact we are planning one for my daughter for next year as a pre-wedding treat.

As for tables for 2 they are really hard to come by. The majority of tables are 4,6, 8. If I had to plump for any I would probably go for a minimum of 6 and possibly 8. You do meet some interesting people when you do this. Although I have to admit that in an ideal world I would prefer my husbands company - after all we are on holiday lol.

The other alternative to consider is eating in one of the 'aternative' dining areas where you pay a cover charge of roughly £7.50pp. We did this a couple of times and therefore ensured that we had a table for 2.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

Celebrity will do tables for 2 but I would suggest that you take the advice given and settle for a table for 6-8. If it is just 4 then you run the risk of having someone you don't gel with.
Remember that it is just a short cruise and the dining is just part of it. Also you can ask to change table if this is really necessary. Also you can book for the casual dining in the evening.
Tables set and waiter service but with a less comprehensive menu. The advantage is that the food you order is cooked to order and therefore excellent and very fresh. I know many people who enjoy this.

Royal Caribbean has informal dining in the Windjammer restaurant. This is buffet style, but lots of times they have quite a few of the items that are on the main dining room menu.
You can always ask the Maitre ' D when you first board,to put you on a table for two in the dining room. If he can't then go for a large group table and you can just do your own thing once you've said Good Evening to everyone.
