I wonder if anyone has stayed in this resort? I have read that sometimes its a fight for sunbeds as people are up at the crack of dawn putting their towels down. If this is the case, is it only around the pool for instance. We prefer to sit in more secluded places and not around pools, is there somewhere like that? Any other useful information would be great.
Many thanks
Trish
it is on the beach so there should not be too many problems. Haven't stayed there I'm afraid.
At the time the hotel looked a little out of place for Samui and Chaweng as a large beach resort surrounded by many smaller properties. The grounds were well manicured so I guess you should be able to find somewhere more secluded to sit. If not as Fiona says there is always the beach, also many restaurants and bars provide beach facilities in the area.
If I remember correctly the Central Samui was further down the beach( away from the centre) than the Regent where we stayed. If that is the case you should find the beach reasonably quiet. By that I mean that you won't be sunbed to sunbed!
Thanks for the replies. You do worry about sunbeds, I must admit I haven't found may complaints about finding sunbeds etc. And we hate to be on top of other people. If the grounds are large enough that shouldn't be a problem.
