After spending the weekend looking through Sharm Brochures and websites we decided on a fortnight at a 5* AI resort.

The main hotels we have looked at are Marabel Beach Hotel, Baron Resort and Baron Palms Resort. Mirabel was coming out at £2k+ while the Baron Palm Resort was around £1,500 and £1,850 for Baron Resort. Obviously the Baron Palms is the cheaper of the 3, however I was a bit concerned by the mixed reviews. We want to be somewhere with easy access to the beach, a variety of restaurants and no fight for sunbeds! Baron Palms resort has been described as quite cramped and a bit of a nightmare to get past all the shops to the beach which put me off slightly. Any advice would be appreciated. Also if anyone knows whether we can eat at the restaurants in Baron Resort if we fancy a change from a/i buffet as Baron Palms only seems to have one other restaurant? We've also been told by one Tour Operator that Baron Resort is B/B but we we're given a price for A/I from another Tour Operator. If there are any other hotels anyone would really recommend, that would be great too.

Finally we've searched Thompsons, Thomas Cook, Going Places, Olympic and Portland for prices so far, any others people could recommend?
