I'd go to the east coast and stay in Sa Coma. You've got some lovely restaurants, quiet or lively bars and it's only a 5 minute taxi ride to the much livelier resort of Cala Millor.

Hi, Puerto Pollensa sounds just what your looking for. Great beach, no highrises, great restaurants a few irish bars with live bands. Its a really laidback resort.

Is pollenca small, we just dont want to be bored aswell tho, thats always the hardest part finding the right balance of nightlife. x

Compared with Puerto Alcudia, Puerto Pollensa is smaller, but there is still a great deal to do. There are around half-a-dozen music and later-night bars around the centre as well as some very fine restaurants. There is also a disco, which isn't really that much cop. The main beach is very good, with sailing and windsurfing if that's your thing.

The nightlife isn't as rave as some of Puerto Alcudia's, but may be ok for you.

See your other thread about Italian restaurants.

Forgot to mention a great little Italian place in Puerto Pollensa. Little Italy along the pinewalk. Superb pizzas. Enormous. Had one for 6.50 euros.
