Hi,

Has anyone stayed at this hotel either recently or in the past?

We booked it independently as we have arranged our own itinerary (flying from Cyprus) and the guy who reserved the hotel for us advised us last week he has had some complaints from American guests.

He offered us the Basma Hotel in place of it but the alternative hotel is situated too far out of Aswan for our taste (and it's up quite a steep hill).

So, we decided to take our chances with our original choice.... Did we do the right thing?
