Just looked at yellow pages on line and there is number in there for someone who offers pet services - they would come to your house every day and feed and clean out the rabbit?

Or have you tried ringing the local vets and asking them if they know of anybody local who would offer the same service or even any kennels that take small animals as well?? most vets have a list of local animal services and sometimes word of mouth is the best way to find someone!

A while ago (when we had a hamster) our local pet shop had some small animals "on holiday" - there was a card on the cage saying something like "Fluffy is not for sale, just on holiday". Maybe you have a pet shop near you which could offer a similar service.

carriejayne, pop into your local vets, they should be able to give you details of someone local who offers such a service. Don't be too quick to dismiss the kennels though. We board out rabbits at the local kennels and the girls there adore them because they don't get to look after rabbits very often. They get absolutely ruined whilst there, getting brilliant care and being kept well away from the cats and dogs. They get their own stable all to themselves and all for £1.50 each per day.
