I don't think you can get married on any of the Thomson's ships, they only do renewal of vows.
Princess is one company which does them and there were 4 weddings and 5 renewals of vows when we were on the Sea Princess. Check http://www.princesscruises.co.uk although I had to hunt in the FAQ's on that site and found THIS who must be the company that Princess use.

My son got married in Cyprus and there were fairly rigid rules as this was a RC wedding and all the letters of freedom to marry had to be sent from the Parish he was living in. I think this letter had to come from the Bishop to the Priest who was in Paphos.
The responsibility for having all the correct documentation is on the persons being married and not the tour company. I went out a few months ahead and met with the Priest etc just to absolutely clarify things as well as check hotels etc etc. You would need to look at various companies and then make enquiries as to what is legal. It would be much easier if you were just having a civil wedding. It was compulsary that they had the civil wedding and whilst it could have been on the same day they had it 2 days ahead and this is their legal date of Marriage.
Good luck we all had a great time all 31 of our family and friends and then a big do in Ireland for 150 guests later.
Look at some of the boards concerned with weddings and this would also be helpful. Talk to a good travel agent possibly who deals with weddings abroad.

okydoky thanks
Have you tried Pand O...I am pretty sure they do now....
You can marry on some of the P&O ships for definate. They had a wedding chapel on the Arcadia and I think you can marry on the Oceana now too.
I Just picked a copy of the Ventura they do weddings. There is a telephone no for the wedding planner 0845 351 0353. Hope this is helpful but of course she does not start sailing until April 2008.
Benefits include
Bouquet and Buttonhole
Wedding cake and champagne
Traditional or Customized music
Use of a photographer and a keepsake wedding certificate
The wedding planner meets you and your guests at the pier for priority boarding, escort you to your cabin and handle last minute requests.Of course they do all the planning for you and complete transportation details.
Add that to the thrill of a RCCL cruise and it sounds like a honeymoon to remember.
The service is called Explorer Weddings.Good luck
can you get wed on OV???????????
Don't think so.
I don't know if this is just a US ruling.......or applies worldwide - I just know it applies to UK and US nationals getting married from Florida.
You can not be married while you are at sea,not sure where that regulation originated,if it is law or just cruise company policy. . Royal Caribbean will arrange a wedding for you, either on the ship at the port of embarkation or "at various ports of call" on your cruise, their brochure is not specific.
Have a look at Cruise Critic today if you can, they have a great article on the front page about wedding services on cruise ships.
