Does anyone know what the current Tourist Visa is for Egypt?
We are British citizens flying into Cairo from Larnaca then going on to explore Aswan & Luxor then returning to Larnaca via Cairo again.
We will have Cy£ with us and wonder if we should get US$ instead?

I've no idea what the price will be in Cypriot pounds.
In UK£ or US$ it'll be about 15. Prices seem to vary depending on what currency you have.
So, yes - take some US dollars with you. These will be accepted everywhere (or readily exchanged for Egyptian pounds) not just for the Visa.

Will see if we can get the currency together then. We live in Cyprus so it's not often we have UK pounds floating around and the $ we have are to cover the cost of the hotel & cruise itinerary we have arranged in advance.
