Yes, they are cheaper, we bought 4 pairs, really nice ones, eyes checked thoughly, glacoma ect for £250 in Kusadasi.

People may have different views but I bought some in Hisaronu a couple of years ago, paid quite a lot for them, well over the odds I thought even for turkey. any to cut a long story short they were rubbish, the vision was'nt right even though my eyes were tested by computer, I went back to complain and they said that they do not take slight astigmatism into account, either way they were no good.
I came back to good old blighty and was told here that the so called thin and light lenses that I had paid a lot for, could be made even thinner here a half the cost.
I have used opticians all my life, ( nearly ) and after the episode in Turkey I found, in sheffield a manufacturer that makes lenses for opticians and now use them, sod all the 2 for 1 offers at the shops, I found them much cheaper and better.

my glasses i got from hisaronu were expensive compared to here alright they were named designer but i am not sure on the lens quality alright for just reading but qd and wilko's are alright for reading as well and at 1.99 the uk is not all that bad

It appears there is no significant difference in price, and there is also a question mark on the quality, therefore I have decided to buy in the UK.

my wife was looking at glasses in icmeler last year
and she enquired for a similar pair which she has
they worked out just as expensive

my mother lives in turkey and bought some glasses last year in marmaris and when she visited the uk they were cheaper here, so she wont buy them any more in turkey
