I can't remember if I've been to the Marriott four or five times so at least you can guess what my choice would be. Been around the Sheraton and while its nice it appears a bit more formal whereas the Marriott has much more of a resort feel...if you do go for it try for a room with a river view.

Sunbear- couldn't have put it better myself! However, I've only stayed at the Marriott once. We had a river view and that is a "must". It has a definite feeling of a resort about it. The Sheraton looks good as well though.

We have stayed at the marriott riverside twice,the last time being end of march.
It is a really excellant hotel, everywhere is so immaculate, the rooms are very spacious, the views of the river are wonderful, we really love this hotel.
