We used to have a house in Calis Beach, have been to Tasyaka with a friend though. You will need to be sure you are near the bus route, wherever you buy as some places are quite a walk.

I left a message on another thread about agents, hope it helps a bit.

Tasyaks is situated just outside the town of Fethiye and has been a growing area in recent years. Its not a resort but a 15 to 20 minute bus ride will take you to the well known beach at Olu Deniz.
As the area has been developing there are now plenty of shops in the Tasyaka area. It has become a fairly popular area to buy in, mainly as the properties there tend to be less expensive than Fethiye or Calis.
There are bits of Tasyaka that are nicer than others. You need to go and have a look for yourself to see what you think of the area.

thanks everyone i knew roughly where it was but yes we will go and walk around first. maybe changed or minds to dalaman area now my hearts in the fethyie area but as an investment we think maybe dalamans better.i also quite fancy calis beach drove through lots of times but only stopped once or twice maybe we'll check it out this year

The only thing with Dalaman is that it isnt a resort as such and is a small Turkish town, whereas Fethiye and Calis Beach are more geared for tourism. Dalaman may suit you though, you will need to go out there and take a look like you said.

Have you had a look at Koycegiz?? if you want somewhere not too tourist but a place to chill and relax. Its not beach front but on a lake twenty mins from airport and very much more like the turkey of twenty years ago.
