I was drinking Sagres and Superbok in Albufeira last year. Prefered Sagres of the two.

We found loads of great restaurants in the old town. El Bailotte, Annas, El Sombrero (mexican), Louisiana and Bravo were some of the best.

Dont like Super Bock at all it leaves a wierd taste in your mouth. Sagres is much nicer, but my favourite is Cristal unfortunately it is only sold in bottles. Majority of the time though i drink the Vinho Tinto, Alentejo region wines being my favourite. Cheers Jayjan

Yep,

I can definately reccomend the Louisianna for fish and Cristal to drink. Casal Garcia is a nice wee daytime wine, if that's what you are in to I agree Superbock leaves a bad taste, afew are okay but after that its not too good. Have heard the Royal Orchid (Thai) is really nice and will betrying in a week or so myself.

Just back from the Algarve...so the tastes still fresh in my mind. Yes the Sagres is nice, and Superbock is not so bad. I too like the Casal Garcia it just suits long summery Portuguese nights.

Fraid we were not so impressed by the Royal Orchid though, and its pricey.

as for restuarants we love o'tunnel, which is by the tunnel to the beach & casa d fonte which is tje opposite side of th tunnel
