We're taking our 5 month old baby to majorca next week and i need some advice please on what water to use for his feeds???
I realise the tap water is not drinkable but i've also heard that bottled water isn't suitable for making up babies bottles.
I'd be really grateful for any advice from parents who have been in this situaion before.
many thanks for you help ...
Bottled water was fine for our children, on several holidays to Majorca and Salou, we used it. Straight in the kettle, boil it up, and its fine.
You haven't mentioned sterlising bottles. If you have access to a microwave it's not a problem. W didn't have one in our apartment so used my mums 40 year old method of sterilising tablets and a big pan of cold water.
Boiled bottled water will be fine.
but i've also heard that bottled water isn't suitable for making up babies bottles.
What did you have in mind as an alternative ?
i thought maybe i would have to purchase the ready made formula in cartons???
We bought the ready made formula (and took a couple of bottles with us) however our little un is 14 months and so only has 1/2 bottles a day.
