hi there - ive been to the Asena Beach and its great - just the right mix between fun and relaxation - our best holiday ever . more info on a post i made a little further back -about a week ago - feel free to fire away any questions. Ephesus is in Kusadasi which is a long way away from olu - probably more like 6/7 hours. you can go on a 2 day coach trip which also takes in another big attraction but i cant remember the name begins with pum :?: :?: all the agents in town sell it but not sure how much!!

Yes I would highly recommend the Asena Beach Hotel. We had a lovely big room, with 2 bedrooms, a fridge, a safe, air conditioning, loads of wardrobe space (unusual) and a dodgy tv. For 2 adults and 2 children, we had two double beds and a single, and a terrace.

The hotel was in a good position, just next to the main street, and a short walk to the nearest beach. We did take advantage of the free taxi to a private beach on the lagoon, which was wonderful.

We had a lovely holiday, the staff were good fun and very welcoming, the pool was large, there was table tennis, big chess and pool tables for the kids. If your room is near to the bar areas, it could get a little noisy later on.

Our only down side was going half board. The food did get a little boring after a fortnight. I would say go bed and breakfast and dont miss out on the local cuisine and charm of the nearby restaurants.

Many thanks everyone for all the info. I think my friend is going to book. After reading up about it, I am tempted too but am trying Icmeler this year (thanks to all the excellent reports on this site).

Hi

Going to Olu Deniz at end of september staying at Asena Beach. Was there last october. I was wondering if anyone has been recently? Are the staff still the same as last year? Olu is usually quiet this time but I wondered just how quiet it is this year with tourism being down?

Thanks

Looking to book the above hotel for June - have read good reviews on it. Has anyone been recently and would it be suitable for 2 first timers - one who is not terribly mobile?

Thanks appreciate any replies - good or bad!!!

this is a great hotel it has lots to do it also has a shuttle bus to its sister hotel in hisaronu,
but is close enough to be able to get to the shops just be careful of the extra large curbs in olu and hisaronu if you are not very mobile
