Only being away for a week means we don't want to have to think about where to eat or see the need for a lot of trips out, a relaxing week in the sun is what it's all about, with the option of going out if we feel like it. After all, it's all down to personal choice.
We first started this taking our (late) teenage kids away, the money we didn't have to spend on soft drinks more thank made up for the All Inclusive 'premium', & the additional activity and sporting packages included were almost a freebie!
There has been a distinct lack of the "Drink from Dawn 'til Dusk" syndrome on all these holidays, we only have a beer before luch & wine with meals etc AND don't have to think about a budget. Soft drinks on tap, coffee & snacks when we feel like it make up a more relaxed break.
Each to their own
