Just got back from Ovacik this morning, we had a great time ( as usual ) I just thought that I would keep you all up to speed on what's happening there.
At this time they are in the process of widening the road down into Olu Deniz ( it needed it ) in some places it is probably about 50 yards wide, something very similar to what they did last year on the Fethiye road, you all know what it's like they chop away at the mountain sides to make it wider then resurface, It is almost finished now and the expected completion date was June 5th so it should be all done and dusted by the time most of you get there.
On another note, Hisaronu has changed a little, there is now a new block paved area where the market is, near the roundabout at the top of the Olu road, A new building for the belediye is going up where the market used to be, on the other side of the road, and where the old post office and telephones where is a new pedestrian area with new shops and restaurants, there is a new Migros opening next week and the Azda is now a lot larger than it was.
Everthing else seems to be about the same, great atmosphere etc etc. had another great time.
