Hi dont know about the dark rum but you cant get blackcurrent in the bars etc I go at least twice a year I take my friends that have a hotel the plastic bottles from tesco for the bar.

Hi By the way Im not stupid I was on about before the restrictions came in just explaining that if you wanted it you would have to take it yourself why do some people think your thick when you answer a question we are all aware of what we can take on a plane im no different

Hi cockney girl, You will be able to get the Dark Rum in the Duty Free on your way out, it is cheaper. We usually buy two bottles on the plane going out, there is always an offer on. This is to have as a Nightcap in the room before turning in. Then if there is any left on the plane coming home, we do the same. Sorry but I can't help you with the Blackcurrant but maybe a pm to Chelsea Boy or John Toohey will resolve this as they live out there.

Cheers for thwe replys will get some from duty free,as for the blackcurrrant not sure whether to pack some in our cases and hope they get there in one peice,otherwise our clothes might look tie dyed

Why not pack them in a small separate bag? You can still put them through the hold.
