Have a look at first time to Goa
this was probably the trailblazer for our many brilliant reports we have on the Goa forum.
Puddleducks China and Hong Kong trip
Bangkok and Krabi
I've printed it out for my forthcoming holiday.
I cant beleive I just posted that. But it's true.
It was so good I can't remember going!
.........It was so good I can't remember going!
..... I've had holidays like that !!
( I think Doe might mean Glynis' report - you know, the one where she saw more of the Algarve in two weeks than some of us have seen in nineteen years ! )
Glynis- care to give us a link to your report?
You'll find it here Fiona :
it's a day by day account of the hols!!!!!!!! never been to Goa but love reading them-------maybe if we all did a report like that -it would make for good reading in the winter!!!!! plus Goa would still be reporting coz it's their season!!!
Good reading in the winter months
Sorry Fiona & Glynis. I'd be dangerous if I had a brain. It's a bit poor when you can't actually remember which Mod or Admin you are flattering.
It has to be:
Perhaps you could do a Report of the month award The mods could draw up a shortlist of say 3 to 5 and members could then vote The winner could be sent some form of HT goodie and perhaps all the winners could then go into a review of the year for a bigger prize
trip reports certainly give a great insight into holidays for others. I like writing them myself as it is amazing just how much you can forget once you are back. And it gives you something to read when its the middle of winter and you are depressed
Fiona - you beat me to it - I loved Stacey's Borneo report, so much so it's now on my list of places to visit!!
Fiona's HK, Saigon & Bangkok report -
Chilli's Amazing India blog
This is what it says- amazing. I'd love to do that trip but to be honest, I don't think I'd like the "roughing it" bit
Not many folks can say they have had tea with the Dalai Lama though can they?
