Hi everyone,
From a previous post...
"there is also sewage work started on pedestrian road to Los Christianos at back of Julius Caesar 5 star hotel."
My family are heading there in about three weeks time. Does anyone know how extensive/bad this work is, e.g. are they making a lot of mess, noise. etc? Is it time for me to look for a new hotel???
Thanks in advance,
Gary
Hi my brother has flown to tenerife this evening so when i speke with him i will ask about this work as he is staying in parque santiago 3 next door , ill be back soon with info lol
That would be great - many thanks!
markings on the promenade down all along this area so i'd say the work will be going on for quiet a bit.
I've sent a note to the hotel asking for information, I'll post it when it comes back. They didn't tell me about this when I booked, but I guess it was a while back.
Three things come to mind - noise, smells, impact on the water/sewage system. Hmm.
Oh well, it looks like I might need a plan B up my sleeve if they tell me it's causing problems.
Thanks again,
Gary
We've just spent the last 2 weeks walking past these 'works' as we stayed in PSIII and went into Los Cristianos every morning. The most I saw was a mini-digger, which may not pose too much of a disruption, and there didn't seem to be any nasty smells, but I have to say I wouldn't be impressed getting a nice sea view room in this better class hotel, only to open the patio doors to noisy workmen and machinery.
Good Luck
Thanks minley - we've asked for a pool view room this year as a result of this, so hopefully we won't notice (fingers crossed!)
