Hi There,
Will be my 8th visit in September, i am not posh at all but i do think it is slightly more up market than other places in the med. I have been to the Caribeean a few times, and the beaches are just as nice in Cyprus. The food is brill, the people are friendly, you feel safe. i have not been for the last 2 years, but cannot wait for September, i will probably get a little bit emotional as we land, if anyone can understand that, as it feels like i will be coming home.

For me it is the lovely Cypriot people. They always seem to have time for you and make you feel special.

Best thing about Cyrus is..... never to have to leave, not been back to the UK in six years, and I do not intended to god willing!!

Everything everyone else said and the fact that you just don't have the same degree of chavvie/trailer trash there that you do in Spain or Greece.

Hi...what is that? ''chavvie/trailer trash'' we have mounds of rubbish on Cyprus, look down any ravine in any beauty spot and look, it's a scandal I am afraid.. we ran a campaign locally about abandoned car wrecks and the local authorities have done nothing, even after trying to embarrass them with photos of this problem on the island..

Have to say though I still love living here..
