Glad to hear you had such a fab holiday Karen.

I feel exactly the same about Olu Deniz, cant wait till July when we are back.

I have yet to meet anyone who has had a bad holiday in Olu.

I fell in love with the place most definitely, in many ways. . . I had so many reservations about Turkey, but I just want to get back there as soon as I can, have just found flights to fly out for 3 weeks in August, which would mean less than 60 days I could be back there again. . . .

Sounds like you found luurrrrve!

as for finding luurrrrve . . . well. maybe  :P

We have never been to the same place twice, now I dont think I will ever want to go anywhere else . . . so, if anyone here knows people to get in touch with regarding buying property, please point me in their direction . . . :)

Glad you enjoyed Olu, we have been going there for 5 years now and can't bear to go anywhere else, other people(who don't understand) think were mad.

Be careful about that heart, our daughter lost here heart when we took her there one year, she had a long distance relationship for about 18 months but it ended when her friend decided to marry a turkish girl! They are very charming but tend to see british girls as a bit of fun (**X!*@*).
Every waitor you speak to has an english girlfriend.

Sorry to be negative, I may be wrong about your friend but generally they are as I say.

I'm not allowed to send pm's for some reason, but could give you the name of the person I bought and sold my property with.

I totally hear you on this and Im sorry that your daughter got messed around, its so sad to hear of that happening! When I said about my heart being in Olu, I actually meant that I had falled in love with everything about the place rather than a particular person, although I did meet someone there, its definitely the place I am in love with  ! At my age Im too much of a realist to know that anything like that could work

But I just loved the place, have NEVER felt that about anywhere we have been on holiday could never describe it as a perfect holiday, so to do that this time is nothing short of a miracle. I just long to be there, and just cant wait to get into work on monday so I can book the time out on the holiday calendar

as for the girl thing well as a man what can be said s mall amount of english young ladies gives the turkish the view of all english girls as wanting fun, but then its the same in other countries just be careful

Maverick, I can see why you fell in love with the place, Ive never really done that with anywhere I have been to, until now that is. And as for the people, they were lovely! I felt so at home, so comfortable and so at ease, something that to me travelling as a single parent is very important. I cannot wait to return, just trying to find the cheapest way of doing so during the school summer holidays

Hi Karen, Aegean Flights release their Summer 2008 flights this month, its worth waiting to see their prices, as last year they were around £80 each incl taxes, charges etc, even for school holidays!

Thanks for that info Sarong, Ive just seen your other thread, unfortunately, Im looking at returning in the upcoming summer holidays rather than 2008, so know i wont get anywhere near these prices! Although, having had such a wonderful holiday, Id pay ANYTHING to be back in Olu right now!

Have just posted my review of the hotel, and I just have a longing to be back there now.......soon tho! lol
