Hiya Joolz, I very quickly did a search on wintersunshineholidays and a 1 bedroom apartment is coming up at £98 for a week. That's for the whole of May, and is per apartment, not per person. Then it goes up to £161 for a 1 bed bungalow, plenty inbetween these prices too. Then you'll need your flights and transfers on top, couldn't check these as I don't know where you want to fly from. Ooops, forgot, lol, these are for Lanzarote. If you let me know where you want to fly from I will cost it out for you if you like, good luck, Linda x

Where you are going wrong is as Nodocnoe says - the last week in May is the school half-term holidays in England and prices will rocket then either for packages or flights departing from English airports, especially if you want to leave on the Fri/Sat as remember that will be a Bank Holiday weekend. You might get cheaper flights from Scottish airports that week because our mid-term break falls differently but that's not much use if you live in the southeast of England!

We are flying from Glasgow, which never seems to have cheap flights!!

Flyglobespan not out yet for May 08 so I'll see what they have on offer. Got LOADS of time yet!!

We go away every may/june half term and pay 250-290 each (sc)for a fortnight including all taxes etc.Four star for two weeks.
You're booking too early, May is a great month for late deal holidays as is September.Usually 8 to 4 weeks before the holiday date, prices change.
We always find lots of late deals on First Choice's web site.

Can't believe the great deal I got!!

Firstly I tried to book last night and the Thomson website crashed at 2355, right after I submitted all my bank details!!!! I didn't know if I was booked or not.

Before I went to work I cecked for confirmataion e.mails and hadn't eceived any. Re-priced holiday and it was down £40 from 12mn!!!!

I'm going to Es Cana, Ibiza, full board - fab price. If anyone wants details feel free to PM me.
