It's some while since I was in Gumbet.
Where are the best bars for entertainment nowdays.2 couples in their 40's-50's so we don't want clubbing just places with good atmosphere and a bit of music.Singers/shows would be great

                Hiya,
Planet Yucca restaurant has live music - not really a show though. Same with the Red Dragon restaurant.
Most of the restaurant bars along the road running through Gumbet to Bitez (Adnan Menderes Cad) have the dancing waiter routines every night. Good fun.
And then theres Dream Girls - also on Adnan Menderes Cad - a drag show from the UK with dinner included. Also good fun - but don't sit near the front if you don't enjoy getting ridiculed!
If you're staying at the Turihan, all of the places I've mentioned are pretty close to your hotel, only a few minutes walk. Except the Red Dragon, which is at the other side of the resort (the Bodrum end).

Thanks Elain on my last visit we ate at the Yukka every night....food to die for and I have several pics of me turkish dancing with the waiters.
I also did the Drag show which was excellent and pretty good value as drag shows go.
We will either be going to Turihan....my choice or Sahin my mates choice
I'm going to try and persuade her to go to my choice as it's on the beach.....nothing quite like eating your breakfast and looking out over the bay.
From what I remember there isn't a lot to do in the resort....I mean it's not as lively as Marmaris......I'm sure we'll find something to do of an evening
