I'm off to Mauritius in just over 2 weeks and wondered if its better to take traverllers cheques in Pounds Sterling or US Dollars? One place said it was better to take US Dollars but someone else said pounds. It doesn't matter to me because I'll be travelling to countries where both will be accepted later in the year so just want to take the best ones and take advantage of the good exchange rates at the moment.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Darren
Please let us know how you get on in Mauritius when you get back - we are thinking of going next year, for a wedding. Would love to know more about the island.
Will do! I go on friday and all packed so my usual trip reports will follow.
