went to pretty bay last friday there was nothing pretty about it , we had to wade out about three yards through a lot of rubbish floating in the sea .half eaten pizzas .plastic bags (not good for the turtles ) drinks and takeaway cartons and other items to numeras to mention we wont be going there again in a hurry :

Pretty bay is just a name and your right about the mess there, since the building of the freeport the pollution has got more intense as time goes by. The Maltese people enjoy the bay though it is probably their most popular hot spot.
Be carefull Lorna there have been incidences of raw sewerage polluting the bay which has spelt death to numerous fish.
