Hi
We have just returned from Marmaris and saw Primes Restaurant, it's on the beach front, walking towards the harbour, just after the Baran Bar, it's set back off the front with a funny shaped little fountain in front of it. Hotels near to it are Sunflower and Yunus.

The Hawaii in Marmaris?



Unless there has been a name change that's where I stayed for my first trip to Turkey over a decade ago. 40C plus temperatures at the end of June and no air conditioning in the rooms (I believe they've had it installed since). Still, there was a restaurant just outside (now demolished) where you could get chicken, chips and salad for two plus a couple of beers for under a fiver! Ah, the days when you could find bars selling a large Efes for 25p. How times change!

it is between barans and the hotel yunus. they have added a nice water fountain infront of it. beside it is the hotel hawaii but it is quite central so there are many hotels near it - the Nergis, mehtap, oskar, across the main road behind is the zevkim (thomas cook) to name a few
