My suggestion would be to go self-catering inthe Marmaris/Icmeler area, which would probably suit your restless teenagers no end, and your budget is okay, for we have done 2 weeks peak season for less.
Would recommend Marmaris for the teens, as it is all geared up to the younger age groups, but depends how much you like a brash 'in your face' bustling resort, fact is we hated it, but can see how much it must appeal to the teens.
However, if you don't like the sound of Marmaris, stay in nearby Icmeler, a different kind of animal altogether, with a far more laid back vibe, better beaches, and in my opinion a much prettier location, surrounded by the pine forests of the National Park. The good thing about staying there would be that you can all just hop on a dolmus (bus) and visit Marmaris, which is a short ride away and cheap enough too, so that you keep the kids happy, as well as being able to spend time chilling out on the lovely beaches in Icmeler.

The flights from Scotland this year are not cheap with flyglobespan going bust to Turkey. If you want I can pm you a great travel agent who works for Hays Travel and she will get you a great deal and put it all together for you. Stay away from the Tour Ops for Turkey as it is so much cheaper doing it all seperate.

Its not so easy to get help from the travel companies if booking everything separately if the dreaded ash comes back. :yikes
I used to book all my holidays with Hays travel but as they put the holidays together ,I have now booked this years holidays with Thomson or Thomas Cook direct just in case. :que

Try http://www.h4u.co.uk we are going to Altinkum with them in July, I have always found their prices excellent from Scotland during the summer holidays, our 2 weeks SC cost us just over £1000 for 2ad, 1 ch and 1 teenager, although I did book last year and their prices have gone up slightly. They use a Turkish Airline, Onur Air, very basic but we've never had any problems with them, they get you from A to B and I personally would rather save on flights and have more to spend when in resort.
