Can anybody tell me what a promo room is? Just booked for next year and describes the accom as 'promo room'.

when i booked a promo room last year it just meant that they were promoting the rooms at a lower price
are you going to tell us where you are going?

Tried DIY this year, booked flight with travel republic & apartment with alpharooms (Club Sultan Maris) Marmaris, 21 Jul - 04 Aug 10 - £324 per person, including baggage allowance on flight, daytime flight too, so not a bad price!
