Thinking of going to Protaras in 3 weeks time and was wondering how lively it will be?
We hear it's very seasonal, and while we don't want go to a 24/7 clubbing area, we don't want it to be a ghost town either.
Any help or opinions would be gratefully appreciated.
some places stay open all year around (just about) but it does go quiet over the winter months.. however with Easter falling early many places are already starting to open up again...
We went out on 10th April last year and it wasn't busy... wasn't empty but wasn't packed...

Still undecided at the moment, but have seen a reasonable deal to Constantinos the Great, which looks ok.
So it's a toss up between that and somewhere in Gran Canaria, which should mean decent weather.
Any views and opinions are most welcome.

It will be very quiet, in fact most place aren't even bothering to open for Easter.
I've today secured a bar job in a hotel and we're not even starting to go in to clean and set up until mid April. I think we're due to open 1st May.
A lot of hotels arn't even bothering to open this year.
Sorry to give you this info but I wouldnt want to see you disappointed.

Hi used to talk to you a couple of years ago. See you've taken the plunge and gone for living over there, how are you enjoying it? We've booked to go to the Adams Beach as Nissi bay for a week over Easter so hope something will be open although to be on the safe side we have taken the HB option!
Hi Kilgoreck, i'm loving it over here. It wa the worst winter Cyprus has had for years but was still a million times better than the UK winter.
I dont know what the Nissi area will be like then but i'm sure there will be a few things open plus you are right on Nissi beach there so wouldnt matter anyway lol.

Kilgoreck, I took a drive down Nissi ave earlier and around the Nissi beach area there already are quite a few places open.
Thanks for that. Mind you my main worry was finding somewhere to watch Utd v Chelsea ! Lol
