Hi yummymummy....
i have read somewhere on this site that it was been pulled down....i was in calangute in monsoon and it was still open for business then....the restaurant next door...Varundaven...(i think thats how you spell it !!!)..looked like a bomb had gone off...would like to know what that looks like now ???

Nogin,
Vrundavan has been re-furbished and looks very nice.
The public bar has re-opened but I think it's lost it's old charm!!

thanks gff, i loved sitting on the plastic chairs outside watching the world go by with a nice glass of vodka and mango in my hand

lets just hope i have the same experience when i visit in 3 weeks

bob, the public bar is near the main entrance to calangute beach.
Do you know the english pub(think its called log cabin) if you proceed past that,you reach a roundabout, straight on at the roundabout(but right takes you to baga)
Then its on your right hand side

Thanks GFF....what have they done to the Public Bar...???
You say that the Varundavan looks nice.....in monsoon there where big 6ft deep square holes everywhere....any idea why ???
