Hope this is not too late for you.We as a family used to go to the Puerto Azul many years ago but when Airtours moved the kids clubs away we looked elsewhere.We had many a good holiday at the Puerto Azul.I believe this hotel has been on the decline for a good few years now until it was taken over earlier this year by the previous owner.When I went to have a look around the place in October they had retiled the pool area,added jaccuzis in an adult only area,added completely new sun beds and the place was looking great again.I am sur you will have a great time.If you can request a high floor/pool level room.
