I am traveliing to Sharm El Sheikh on July 4th with my family. We will be staying at the Pyramisa Resort. I have read some very mixed reviews about this hotel and would appreciate very much if anyone could give me some more information on this hotel.

Hello, Can anyone give me any more information or comments on this hotel. Also what is Excel Airways like? We have booked through Olympic Holidays via First Choice and I am quite worried by most peoples comments about this hotel!!

We're off to stay at the Pyramisa hotel in Sharm next week all inclusive, and am rather worried by the last review that appeared for this hotel! Can anyone put my mind at rest? Or suggest any helpful hints etc. This is our first time in Egypt and we're hoping to fly to Cairo for 1 day, do some snorkelling and try diving etc. Please tell me we have not made a mistake booking this hotel!

My brother-in-law came back from Pyramisa earlier this month and he had a very good time. He said the rooms were clean, the beaches were nice and the food was good. Also the staff and locals were friendly.
Other things mentioned were that it was a long way from anything, there were alot of steps to be walking to and from your room and the beach. Also, think more 4 star than 5 star.
He went to Naama bay for shopping and Cairo by plane. Also some snorkelling.
He had nothing but good things to say about the place. Don't worry about it, just go and enjoy. I am jealous

I would imagine the dress code for the Pyramisa is the same as virtually all the touristic hotels in Sharm. Don't worry about shirts, a tee shirt is fine, but most people will wear long trousers or long shorts for dinner. Its usually just short shorts or swimming attire that is frowned upon in the restaurants.

I worked in sharm and especially with pyramisa..:-)
the dress code for eve meals is simply (is they didnt chnage it since august 2004) long trousers for men and smart-elegant for ladies...
But as I remember some russian female guests, everything is ok, what is a bit more covered then swim suit...
Anyhow, short sleeved shirt and comfy cotton trousers will do very very well.
Forget suits or so.

Can anyone tell me if rooms are supplied to store our suitcases & for us to use to shower & change ?? as we need to vacate our room byt 12pm on the day we leave but our flight isnt untill 10pm .
Or if we are able to keep on our rooms longer at a small charge ??

Has anyone stayed at this hotel? The reviews are very mixed. We have been emailed to be told that our hotel isn't now available and we have been given this one or we can cancel.
We are obviously fed up about this and want to know if this hotel is worth considering or should we just get out money back?
