We will be visiting Malta and staying in the Qawra area at the end of June. Can anyone recommend any bars where we can sit and look at the sea?

it is a bit expensive save it for something special and romantic,
it's quite sophisticated, no rowdies or lager louts and no t.v.

Just up the hill from Guilleru is the 23 New Steps, you can sit outside and look down over the harbour. No rowdies in here. Tell Robert Dave and Lesley sent you. PS it is one of the bars that doesn't water down the Tia Maria!

along the sea front at qwara are several bars away from the main tourist spots with veiws over the bay, we sit often at the sunnycoast or just down the road on the waterfront itself there is a pizza place with a veiw straight onto the bay,
