We are looking to stay at the Red Sea towards the end of June. (My fiance and I). We haven't been to Egypt before, and if possible, we'd like some suggestions on where to stay please?
We would like decent quality (although we can put up with minor niggles, nowhere's perfect!), nice food, preferably with a choice of restaurants, AI and a good house reef.
Also, we are on a budget.
Thankyou!
if looking for a great beach, house reef then the Conrad will take some beating
For it's fantastic reef, The Conrad. Returning there in 10 weeks. Second visit for me, third for my Mum
We have stayed at the hilton sharks bay twice now and i can thoroughly recommend there. the beach is not the best but the house reef is excellent. funnily enough we were put in the conrad for a night and a full day because our home flight was delayed . the beach there is stunning and would probably take some beating but I thought the resturant /food /general atmosphere was much better at the hilton.

Ive just got Thomson's Egypt brochure that covers next March/April and for the HSB on the customer feedback grid thingy it gave 100% for holiday overall, 100% for accommodation and 100% for location

Chris

By the sound of it the hilton nuweiba has a similar feel I hope

coral sea resort on the beach dive centre great food excellent hotel just look at the hotel reviews it speaks for its self we are returning for our second visit august, hope this helps but im sure most hotels would be great
sorry pips your going to hate me
Course I'm not! I've no doubt the food is not the best at the Conrad but as I'm not too fussy about what I eat it's not an issue for me, so long as it's edible I don't mind!

Actually I quite enjoyed the food there although my Mum said it had taken a turn for the worse when she returned last September.
It's the great beach and snorkelling which really give this hotel it's appeal for me

totally agree about the beach pips .it was stunning and the view over Tiran amazing
