Hi all,
Never been to Cyprus before but we may well be going next August and we're looking for some recommendations on where to stay.
There'll be me, my wife & our 2 kids (boy 11 & girl nearly 4) so a hotel & resort with plenty to do would be good, also a kids club that takes kids from 3 and not 4 which seems to be the norm in Cyprus for some reason.
Looking for HB or AI not really fussed which and a good quality hotel, we havent got 5* money but we'll fork out for the right place if you know what i mean?
Any advice?
P.S tour operator as well as hotel would be handy if you are able to supply it
Cheers folks
Protaras is a good choice, the Vangelis is quiet good and has kids clubs, it is in the Airtours Brochure
A friend of mine recently stayed at the Anastasia in Protaras with her family and thoroughly recommends it. http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/reviews/cyprus/protaras/anastasia-beach-hotel/
if you want to visit Paphos (although not renown for beaches) the Phaetheon Beach is a good family hotel and is recommended by many members on here. http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/reviews/cyprus/paphos/louis-phaethon-beach-hotel/

Phaethon beach is a favourite of mine, ive been going there every year for the past 4 years and will be returning again next year.Theres plenty for adults and children to do and the food is fantastic.
Try http://www.hellenicholidays.co.uk/ for a pricing for the Vangelis. You can d/load their brochure which will compare nicely with T Cooks and Thompsons.
I'm looking again for another decent jolly. The tan's fading as fast as my hair.
