We are looking to travel early August with 2 children age 13 and 6, dont know where to start looking for a good all inclusive hotel. Any help would be appreciated and please tell us why you would recommend the hotel.
My daughter is asking can she take her laptop, do some of the hotels have WI-FI.
Thank you all in advance
Just back from The Coral Sea Resort and thought it was fabulous. There is a thread on here about it and you can read why it is so popular. They didn't have WiFi but do have an Internet Cafe.
Thanks wilson, will take a look. Anyone care to recommend a hotel please feel free to do so. Thankyou.
We stayed at the Crowne Plaza at Xmas 2005 - hotel excellent in terms of service and facilities. Its a bit out of Sharm, but they do run a minibus and a taxi back is cheap enough. Hotel has four or five swimming pools so you are never far from one! It's located on some of Sharms best diving areas with jetties into the sea. It will be v warm in August - it was mid 20s in December!
Looking at 5* accomodation and staying in sharm itself.
Please can anyone help, i am fed up of looking through constant brochures and trawelling reviews.
I can thoroughly recommend Hilton sharks bay . been there twice now and our children 16,14 and 10 love it there . the quality of the A/I is very good, Majority of guests are english, lotsof older children for your 13 year old . Whilst not in naarm bay they do run a courtesy bus. I would describe sharm as more of an area whist the main town is naarm bay .Unfortunately you will be hard pushed to find an A/I in the centre of naarm as the vast majority of A/i hotels are outside of town. Evening entertainment is not something the egytians are very good at yet but they do make a very good effort at the hilton and have entertainment every evening .they also run kids clubs during the day and pool games. there is is seperate childrens pool area with a waterslide which would be perfect for your 6 yr old.
I know how you are feeling. I have spent ages trying to decide on where to go. We have been to the Grand Azure and loved it but prices have pretty much doubled compared to when we went 2 years ago. Last year we went to the Titanic in Hurghada which had fab water slides.
So this year I am stumped. Was looking at the Mirabel Club but am not so sure now that you can't use the bars at all the hotels and I can't get the park which has the waterslides.
We would also prefer somewhere which has a couple of good slides, a good playground and mini club for the kids and mini disco at night for them.
Will have a quick look at the Hilton. Kids are 7 and nearly 3.
Thanks
