There is a nice place called Castillo de Javier. It's a rather fancy place, based on the Spanish cousin. Good meat, fish and starters. It's not the typical restaurant with paellas and so on. If your dad likes some good meat, tell him to go there.

Is he looking for something less expensive, then they could go to a part called los acantilados . There are lots of bars and small restaurants over there.
