Sorry you had a bad experience at Cheers Bev...unfortunately the smoking situation can't be helped as they are allowed to smoke in public places over there and therefore you are reliant on smokers being considerate to other restaurant users...... sadly some just couldn't give a stuff so long as they are getting their nicotine fix! It's my one pet hates and we have in the past left restaurants or made extra loud comments becos' I don't think it's fair on inflicting your smoke on others, especially babies!

Have to say we never had a problem getting 2 highchairs at the table at Cheers...we used to get the far left table outside (to the left as you look at the bar) and just moved 2 chairs out and put them either side of the doors or in the side area which used to be the kids cinema. Cheers was one of the few places at the time that had 2 highchairs so we were always there.
