Hi all,
just to put your minds at rest I only got back from Purto Rico on Saturday after spending a very relaxing time in the Revoli Playa and I can honestly say they were lovely. The rooms were a very good size and cleaned every day the pool is big with plenty of sun loungers to go round. The reception staff were very nice and very helpful and the safety deposit boxes were in reception which I prefer because there is someone at reception 24hrs. There was entertainment every evening which was great for the adults and kids alike. The food in the restaurant was great for lunch but I wasn't mad on the evening meal. Now about those pesky pigeons, yes they were there but all they do is pick at the crumbs on the ground if you don't bother them they won't bother you (it's not as bad as I thought it would be honest) The only thing I would recommend is that when you are booking you ask for a room with a pool view. The bars and clubs were
unusually quiet for May but I would recommend Dicey Reillys bar and Harleys bar both in the shopping centre, and Oscars restaurant or Don Quixote Restaurant down by the beach.

Enjoy your hols,
Regards.

Hi,

We did use the security boxes, it cost €15 for one week and I think I it's €27 for two weeks, not bad and because they're at reception and it's much safer because there is someone there 24hrs. I think your children will enjoy the Revoli, it has water polo and table tennis for the older ones and a kiddies club for the younger ones, it also has an internet room for the older ones.

I really didn't expect much from this place (because of some of the things I'd read) and I have to say I really was pleasantly surprised, just don't expect 4star and you'll be ok.

Mary

P.S. It has no air conditioning so request a fan when you get there.

the hotel and the staff are lovely and its all kept very clean. we enjoyed it a lot carlos does the entertainment he is great he gets to know you and remebers your name even though there is so many of the guests. i would tell anyone to try here yes there was the odd bird but as some one said they dont bother you. i really hope you enjoy it as much as we did

hiya

we just got back 3 weeks ago and really enjoyed staying at the revoli. The staff are very helpful ( they loved our kids cos we got them to say gracias and por favor to them!) Rooms cleaned every other day. pool was nice although you have to be up early to get a sunbed! The pigeons never bothered us at all they were really was just on the balcony, tho a couple of cheekey ones did wander into the apartment evey so often. We had a 6th floor room with views of the harbour. All in all I would go back to Revoli.

I stayed there two years ago and enjoyed it a lot. I didn't spend so much time in the hotel, and never tried the restaurant or bar - so I can't say so much about that. But the location is great. Not so far from the beach or the shopping center. Plus it's close to the bus stop which was great for us as we love to take the bus around and explore the island. Highly recommended!

It seems like people have mixed experiences with the hotel - some love it and some hate it, but I guess it's like that with everything... :)
