Beware of this place!!!!! The food is only just passable and not good value for money.
However, more seriously, you run the risk of having your credit/debit card ripped off. It happened to me and I have no idea how it was carried out.
In December 2007 at 9.20pm I paid 31 Euros (Debit Card) for a very poor meal. When my Visa Debit statement arrived the legitimate transaction was detailed but a further 100 Euros had been extracted from my account. My bank investigated and confirmed that the transaction was NOT "cash back" and that the transaction was timed a few minutes after the original transaction.
In spite of a letter to the owner, a Mr **** detailing all of this I have had no response.
So - BEWARE

Your bank should be able to refund you the f raudulent transaction - talk to their f raud department, but I regret that they will not be able to offer you justice ........ even naming and shaming the individual or taking him/her to court. Sometimes money doesn't do the whole trick!
Im really really sorry you had this experience, and also would hope if it is proved to be fraudulent you get it sorted sooner than later at no hassle to yourself. And thank you for pointing out this restaurant to all of our members...........Im sure they will be keen to avoid it!!!

Its awful that this has happened to you. Will your card company chase this up for you, they should do if you believe your card has been used f raudulently.
We do need to be clear though, this could happen anywhere, in any country, its now way an Irish problem.
