Beware of this place!!!!! The food is only just passable and not good value for money.
However, more seriously, you run the risk of having your credit/debit card ripped off. It happened to me and I have no idea how it was carried out.
In December 2007 at 9.20pm I paid 31 Euros (Debit Card) for a very poor meal. When my Visa Debit statement arrived the legitimate transaction was detailed but a further 100 Euros had been extracted from my account. My bank investigated and confirmed that the transaction was NOT "cash back" and that the transaction was timed a few minutes after the original transaction.
In spite of a letter to the owner, a Mr **** detailing all of this I have had no response.
So - BEWARE

Your bank should be able to refund you the f raudulent transaction - talk to their f raud department, but I regret that they will not be able to offer you justice ........ even naming and shaming the individual or taking him/her to court. Sometimes money doesn't do the whole trick!
But please..............saying "Ireland of the welcomes" is hardly a fair comment to make about being ripped off in ONE restaurant in Ireland Its very unfortunate but in no way typical, being as I have lived, eaten in restaurants and shopped here for 50 years!!!
We do need to be clear though, this could happen anywhere, in any country, its now way an Irish problem.
