Hi nige&nic,
We have booked for Riu Garopa in December. These two hotels are twin hotel/complexes and sit side by side. Guests can use both hotel facilities. I don't really think there is any advantage in choosing one or the other?

We have booked the Garupa hotel for February, all the family going, hope it's ok
There are about 60 reviews of this hotel at tripadvisor, most of which seem positive. I hope they're accurate - my wife and I are going for a week at the end of January!
