Riu Helios Palace, Bulgaria.

Hi, I posted asking about this hotel last year when I first booked, and a big Thankyou to Shirley etc who replied. I am now hoping that there are some new people reading the site who have stayed in this hotel who can give me more reviews about food, entertainment etc. This will be my first visit to Bulgaria and I am so excited after reading all of the comments on Sunny Beach. The only thing that worries me is the weather. I love the sunshine and I gather the weather was not so good last year. We are going 20th June for 2 weeks, 2 adults and 3 kids. Any info on the hotel would be great. Thankyou.

We arrive at the Helios Palace as you leave on the 4th July.Would be great if you could post an update while you are there(i'm sure they have an internet room).No doubt there will be more reviews before you leave.

Sure you'll have a brill time. Yes there is an internet room at the Helios Palace, though I never used it so couldn't tell you how much it cost . I don't suppose it was much if all the other bulgarian prices are anything to go by. Don't think I can add anything that I haven't already told you before. Hope you'll get some input from others on the site. bye

According to my 2005 map, it is between the Colloseum & Sunny Beach Resort/Neptun Beach.

It is numbered '72' on THIS MAP

Hi,
hope you all have a good time at the Helios Palace. In my opinion it's one of the best hotels in SB. Don't forget to hire a safety deposit box. Stayed here last year with 2 other couples so I occasionaly browse this forum to see if I can help with anything.

Hi again, another quick question. Are the hairdryers in the rooms very good? Will they do a decent job or am I better off taking my own. Thankyou.
