Brilliant Ian! What I like to hear! Couldn't find much about this hotel at all! Will see if its still available!!!
Thanks All. Sounds like we made a good choice. 1st stop to chemist for some Odomus and then 3 weeks of HEAVEN.
hi thanks so so so much for this post, my boyfriend and I fly out on 25/03 and we booked the Riverside Regency as well and I was also a little unsure of the hotel but OH MY GOD it looks absolutely lovely and I am now even more excited than I was (if thats possible)
Hi we stayed in the riverside regency in Feb 06. It was very basic to be honest but the people who ran it were very friendly. The pool was great and hardly used. The location is very handy too as it is a bit away from the main road (you have to walk over a footie pitch to get there!) so bring a small torch. We did find it to be very noisy on some nights so bring some ear plugs (people tooting their horns across the river, other guests checking out). We had a very enjoyable stay there.
thanks thats great basic doesnt worry me I'll only be laying my head down there anyway. I reckon if the noise bothers us too much I could find somewhere else pretty easily, Francis at the Big Banana always used to have rooms so if all else fails I can ask him for a room. what was the restaurant like ? apart from the noisy crickets ?
