I'm going away with my girlfriend mid-October to the Torviscas Playa in PDLA. It'll be her 30th birthday whilst we're out there so just wondering if anyone has any advice or experience of nice romantic restuarants and bars we could visit during the evening?
Thanks a lot
Mamma Rosas at Colon 11, intimate, romantic, great food, great service, go and enjoy
Yep Mama Rosas is a good one also ask if the waiters will sing Happy Birthday for her in your native language as they have done in the past.
Didn't know about that Allmen, thats one to remember
I was there when they sang in Italian to a lady that was out with four friends and they thought it was hilariuos. Now I don't know if it was the singing or the waiters attempt to sing in Italian, it may of course just have been the novelty of it.
I would recomend El Mirador, a Mexican with great food (Just look for the macdonalds sign and its above there).
For lunch try Little Italy (just out the back of the hotel) or Logans Bar (further down to the right out the rear of the hotel)
At night you must go down to the beach bar and sit in chairs on the sand, listening to the sea with a drink is great! A little expensive drinks wise though, but hey you're on holiday!
You'll have a great time in a cracking hotel (Great pool! Great staff and normally great weather!) in a nice area.
We are having a little one in 6 weeks and normally we would be out there now, but we'll go in April next year when the little one is out!
If you require any more info please ask.
Enjoy
Any more for any more?!
Also see reviews about it on attached link

They also have their own website if you do a google search.

Mamma Rosas El Faro Verdes etc are all excellent restaurants in their own right but for romance they don't belong on the same page as the "white windmill"
A short taxi ride away from you is El Romantica in Los Cristianos................lovely food, lovely amiance. And aptly named
