You might want to look through the Lapland thread, I'm sure there'll be loads of info on there. I stayed in Yllas for a week just before Christmas. That's about 150km north of Rovaniemi. It's a magical place.

thanks i had a brief look just wondered if anyone knew of any good tour companies i keep finding mixed reviews
