hi we have just returned froma lovely week in tunisia, this hotel was not the highlight of our holiday but we enjoyed our stay, when we arrived we were met by people telling us not to stay there the food was unedible and loads of people had salmonella you can imagine our faces. well we checked into our room which was huge claea but very basic, in fact the whole hotel could do with a refurbishment,the grounds and pool was fantastic. we went for our evening meal and although basic perfectly ok during our time ther we did see samples of food being taken for analysis this we heard had the all clear the snack bar at lunch time was a nightmare the food was good but you had to wait up to 2 hours for it .they were so slow they could make a fortune hear but they dont seem to wasnt to. we were halfboard so were well looked after by the waiters all for a samll tip.the horse to the beach is handy when its warm, the beach was nice but not many sun beds. at night the enertainment was poor but funny they did there best at 10 30 it was all over then the night club opened but there was nothing for us oldies were in our 40s. we went on the galleon trip a gret day out we caught the bus into monastir ans skanes also a taxi into port el kantoui one evening for a meal that was lovely to conclude i really enjoyed my holiday i met some nice people and didnt pay a lot for my holiday, so i would def return to tunisia in the future but would prob give this hotel a miss and try somewhere different
