Hi all
im off to sl a a week on saturday and was just looking at the foreign office website and was abit worried about the terroism that has been happening out there. We arent going to those areas but will be going to stay in mount lavinia and then dambulla. Just wondered if anyone has just returned and how it was?

I know how you feel as, to be honest, the ongoing problems have put me off going to SL. However,although no-one can ever give 100% assurances, if you were in any great danger, the FO would amend their advice and recommend against all but essential travel.
