Will Salou be like a ghost town on the 10-12th November? I've got a cheap flight with a few friends to Reus with Ryanair and haven't decided if it would be best to get the bus to Barcelona or stay local in Salou as we are only there for a 2 days. I've seen Port Aventura is still open (it closes on Nov 13th) so we can go on a few Halloween rides during the day time! But not sure if the bars and clubs will be open and if they are will anyone be in them.
Any advice from anyone who has been in November would be great!

we just got back on monday from a long weekend.
the place was dead. but if you just want to lie on the beach then fine. its also expensive for eating out. you should budget for waht yopu would spend in the uk. breakfast was about £3 or £4, steak pie and chips was about £5.
i think i will go somewhere nice next time.

I didn't realise Salou was that expensive!! I also didn't realise it would be that quiet. Does anyone know of anything going on in the resort on the 11th or 12th November? Will all of the pub acts of headed off to Tenerife for the winter? 
Just came back yesterday (8th) from being there for 4 days.Very quiet, just a few british bars open, about 5 to be exact. We had full board in the hotel so didnt have to eat out. Meals available in Danny boys bar,meals looked good from what i could see.I think a pint there was 2.50 euro.Dont know what the evenings will be like.But like mosstrooper siad, it is very quiet. Have a nice time.
The local bus from the airport to Salou goes from outside the airport and should be there when you arrive, and it cost 5.40 euros.You give the driver the name of the hotel you are staying at.Thought you might like to know.
